Pray directly and sincerely to God the FATHER in heaven. He can only help you, no one else. Not even dead saints who are still in their graves....Praying to dead saints for guidance is not praying in truth and in spirit to God. He will not hear you.....Here is some literature to help you understand the facts about answered prayer......http://www.lcg.org/cgi-bin/tw/booklets/print-bk.cgi?action=print_item&category=Booklets1&item=1104095186&print=yes

I don't personally know of a prayer but what you can do for guidance is find every scripture you can on your situation and study it. There you will find out what Gods will is for you in situation b/c his guidance will NEVER go against what's in His word. I'll be praying that God keeps you until you find out what you need to do. Though there may be sometimes when it feels like God is so far away and He doesn't hear our prayers, remember the scripture tells us after you've done all you can stand.

If you feel like you are missing something, then I believe you are. I have been in this situation, and have felt it, and I knew I was missing it. Pray for God to reveal to you the vision He has for your life. You will know when you have it, because when you act on it, you will have peace.
Hab 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Sometimes it takes a while to find what God wants us to do.
Mt 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
So press in with prayer, seek God. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you.
No special prayer is needed, just talk to Him as you did us here. Study the Bible, and He will reveal the plan to you.
I will be praying that You will get the vision God has for you.

Praying to saints will only misguide you more. Don't you know our God is a jealous God and there is no other way through him but through Jesus Christ? The best prayer for you to get a response from God is a prayer from your heart. Say everything that's on your mind directly to God and he'll hear you! Send a messenger and you'll get a busy signal!

Well, the funny thing is, I felt absolutely relieved when I finally researched Christianity from the roots upward and found out it wasn't what I had been led to believe my whole life. Up until then, I always felt condemned, unworthy, empty and lost. As soon as I saw the 'light' all of that went away and I felt truly happy with myself and with my life for the first time. I'm not an Atheist, but I'm also not a relgious person. Instead, I'm free to explore and discover . . . to be open minded and seek the truth on my own terms. Much MUCH better this way. :)

God has said something to you - it's all in the Bible. 2 Tim 2:15. You have to study to show yourself approved. Study is key - you have to look to the Bible through which writers inspired by the Holy Spirit spoke to us. We use prayer to make our requests known to God, that's Biblical. We also pray when someone is sick, another Biblical example. And we pray for wisdom and understanding, not knowledge. We gain knowledge through study. That's key to understanding what God wants from you personally. I believe the core is obedience. You have to obey the NT commands specifically in order to please Him. Love is a central theme, love for God and your neighbor, see Rom 13 and 1 Cor 13. Also it all begins with accepting Him as your savior. Christ died for us all, but we have to do something to become saved. I feel strongly this is spelled out explicitly in Acts 2:37 - 38 and Acts 8:37-39. The elements of salvation in just these two passages of scripture indicate 1) hear 2) believe 3) confess 4) repent and 5) baptism are essential for salvation. All but repentence is in Acts 8 and repentence is in Acts 2. Note that baptism appears in every scripture when a saved state is achieved. I believe the scriptures spell that out strongly. Some will tell you teaching baptism being essential for salvation is a false teaching. Is it? If it's in every scripture where someone is saved, and 1 Peter 3:21 says "there is also an antitype which now saves us, namely baptism..." it's pretty clear what saves us. Obedience. Baptism. It all starts there, and with the rest of the scriptures we can learn from the guidance of Christ, the righteousness of some, the mistakes of others and from inspired men how to conduct ourselves in such a way as to be pleasing to God. Just do what you feel is the right thing. If it isn't thats just something you will have to figure out when the time comes. I believe that God sends us messages but ultimately I think he leaves it up to you to decide. I, too, am at a cross-road. I have a very hard decision to make, but I think it will all work itself out for the best. Just keep praying, and I'm sure you will figure whatever it is, out. Good Luck to you!

Start by asking God for guidance in prayer & reading Gods Word. John, 1-3 John. Ephesians.
In James it is written that God gives wisdom liberally. We just need to ask without doubting or without being wishy washy. Just be specific. Look up to Gods blessed Assurance. Remember to thank Jesus for His redeeming blood that you your sins are washed away. Ask God for direction in what you need direction in. Be specifice & clearly know what you are asking God. God promises to give you wisdom & God gives wisdom quickly if you are still & know God Is. So? The Spirit of Truth (anointing given you when you were born of God) will bring to mind a scripture of guidance. Bring to your mind what Jesus said. And then you can ask God for confirmation & then the Pastor or a friend will say a similar thing & confirm the direction.
Remember that faith comes by hearing & hearing a Word about Christ / God. So keep hearing the Word. Hear your self speak the Word. And when you need Guidance, the Holy Spirit is quick to quicken your spirit with a Word from God.
So? I pray for you to receive guidance from Jesus through faith in His Word.

What a very precious request you make. I will tell you what God wants you to know is that He loves you so much, you are very special and He has given you at least one talent. He is the one you lean on when things are tough and those in Satan's service try to bring you down. Scriptures tell us that no one comes to the Father except in Jesus name. It also forbids us to worship anyone other than the Father. Even Jesus said to not pray to Him but only to His Father in Heaven. My prayer for you is that you will find the peace, joy and love of being in a relationship with our Creator. I pray for you to have discernment over what is right and good. Remember to ask for the Holy Spirit to guide you when you study God's word so that you will understand what you need to know. It is important to rely on God's word and principle and not emotions because Satan often works through a persons emotions. It is good to try and be a blessing to at least one person each day without expecting anything in return and it will give you showers of blessings. God bless.

I'm sorry, but I don't believe in praying to the Saints or saying a prewritten prayer. God is our Father, if we have accepted His Son as our Lord and Savior. Jesus is our intercessor, that is what the Bible says. He tells us to pray to the Father in His (Jesus') name. So just do this and let it come from your heart. That is all it takes, not man telling you what to say or who to pray to. Nowhere in the Bible does it teach us that. So again, just talk to God and pour out your heart. He is faithful to listen when we are sincere.
