Jesus said in the end of days, there would be signs in the heavens signaling his return. Do you think the Comet Holmes is one of them? After all, it basically exploded and is increasing in brightness and now it's coma has grown lager than the Sun itself. Scientist have now declared it the "largest single object in the solar system." What do you think?

how far we've come from medieval ignorance! We still hide under the bed from comets!

and now "scientists" are useful - when they fit. But when it comes to evil, evil evolution, they are bad.

just once, I'd love for someone in the Chicken Little Squad to add up all the "signs" that have been sighted over the past 2,000 years as "proof" of the "end of days."

There's a reason they don't. It takes myopia and deliberate ignorance of the history of failed prophesy in order to see "signs" today.

I believe their are signs all over the place but I'm not going to be a false prophet by setting a date. in Revelation it talks about a comet or something coming toward the earth?

perhaps the comet'is part of the signs'maybe not',..the scripture only uses the generic term to describe the signs''the focus is to mean GOD*is makeing His*purpose happen as He* said it would happen&we are to be ready for the LORD JESUS* to return at the apointed time.

There have benn thousands of events that could be interpretted as "signs," but we now know what comets are, unlike the bronze age sheepherders that told those tales.

Did they confirm it is going to hit the earth or just miss the earth by about a billion or two miles. Not kilometres but miles.

There have been 'signs in the sky' through all of recorded history. That isn't much of a prediction.
