You're funny. Sadly mistaken, but funny.
Let me introduce you to Pascal, Wart.

Just to answer your question first with another question... where in the Bible are we given "purpose"? Just because atheists don't believe in a divine being/creator, doesn't mean they don't have a purpose in their lives, and just because someone is a Christian doesn't mean they do have purpose.
Now, to answer your question with another question. Which part of the Bible is correct? Is it the part that says to forgive and be better than those that hurt us? Or is the part that says an eye for an eye?
How can an "all knowing, all loving, all forgiving" God neglect its creations, or "children" as people like to call us, out of pettiness and spite? What decent parent does that?
Like it or not, the Bible, and all other religious teachings, was/were written by men. Men are fallible and the Bible as we know it today is an abomination of whatever might have been passed on from a creator, if that ever happened at all. God is love.
If you live a loving life, whether you "accept Jesus" or not, you will have a place in whatever Heaven there might be. There is no reason to fear, if you live a life meant to treat other people with respect, dignity and love. That was the true teaching of Jesus (and Buddha and Mohammed among others.)

You are very deluded, this christianity thing has really got a hold on you... There is NO heaven and there is NO hell, get a grip of yourself already. You have been suckered in to a myth :-) Ha ahjahha ha hah ah h ah ha. When you die you "go" to the same place that every person on this planet goes to... death, the end. Just because you "pray" to an imaginary god does not change the reality or the laws of physics.
Religious belief on your scale is considered by the medical profession to be a psychotic condition, like bi-polar psychosis. Consult a psychiatrist without delay.
Jesus - the Fraud of the Age.
-------------------------------------------
You said "And you end up in hell because God word is true". Someone once said that "The height of all arrogance is claiming to know the mind of god" which you appear to be doing.
Simon T (poster below) mentions the "Egyptian Book of the Dead". This book is the source which your self proclaimed 'holy' bible is plagurised from. Do yourself a massive favour and study the subject. You have been born in to a culture that indoctrined (brainwashed) you with the jesus myth, If you were born in say, Saudi Arabia, then you would be telling me how wonderfull allah is ! Let me guess, you were born in the USA? Duuuhh !
Well "King Arthur" - To avoid making yourself look even more silly, then i reckon you should award the 10 points to "Catherine E: VT" on page 2 of this question.

Makes existence extra effective! If a guy or woman is serving God to get extra effective issues then they're lost! on a daily basis we gamble on undemanding issues a vehicle, bus, airplane or prepare holiday getting up and going to the bathe may well be a job for some! existence is a raffle yet no longer God! His notice may well be referenced in simple terms right on my own guy recorded history in simple terms so those choose further evidence can have not have been given any excuse! Our blessing of unfastened will and nonetheless has been our curse!

Is your life worth living going through all the motions with blinders on, unwilling or unable to explore any other truth than the one you've been fed? What do you have to gain by limiting yourself to one very specific religion? You mention Jesus, so you've already greatly narrowed your view. You say that, you "know that Christianity is the true faith because of what God has done for me", but Jesus is the fundamental belief in Christianity and God and Jesus do not necessarily go hand in hand. The belief in Jesus does not exist without God, but the belief in God can exist without Jesus.
Do you mean to suggest that all other religions are wrong? Is it your belief that all people before the time of Jesus went to hell? Do you believe that people that follow Judasim are going to hell because they don't belive that your Jesus was the savior? You yourself in your question said, "IF the bible is true". Doesn't sound like even you are completely convinced. Does that mean you are going to hell? Do some research and you will discover that one of man's biggest theories is organized religion. There is more proof that evolution is real than there is that Jesus is. You may benefit from trying to separate your faith from the bible as an absolute truth, because the bible is a collection of stories written by man. Isn't it possible for creationism and evolution to co-exist? If God and heaven do exist, it seems to me that it would make more sense that your entry would have more to do with the type of life you lead and less to do with what you belived in. I don't know everything and don't claim to, becasue there are a lot of questions in today's world and belive it or not, you only have one of a million answers, so before you limit yourself, open your horizons and be accepting of different people, cultures and beliefs...it could save your soul!

As a student of geology, I prefer data that is scientifically founded. I am not atheist as I define myself as spiritual and do have my beliefs, but maybe by your definitions and that fact I don't believe in the bible as pure fact, I am. That your prerogative and I will not judge that. I believe in the amazing power of energy in the universe and the power it gives to the remarkable nature that surrounds us. If God is there when I die, I doubt his concern would be what my religious faith was. There are so many Christian religions out there, which one could be right? Would God cast out all the "other" Christians? I would think that God would look at my life and how I lived it. Good luck in your life and hope you learn to become more understanding of others.

Gee, where have I heard that one before?
Why are you gambling with your life? Study the Book of the Dead, so that you can answer correctly when you stand before Osiris.
Go join the army too. After all, only those warriors that fall in battle get to go to Valhalla, the rest end up in the frozen wastes of Hel.
Oh, and you better move into a house built exclusively of stone. After all, some dragon might come rampaging and torch all the wooden houses.
But the most important thing you can do is learn to actually think about things, rather than just parroting what you pastor or religious web site says. Seriously. What makes your version of god true and all the thousands of other versions that have existed over the ages false? Please learn to actually think before speaking.

I'm honestly exhausted from answering Pascal's Wager. But I'll humor you.
I'm not going to pretend to believe in something that makes no sense to me just because someone else tells me that I will be punished for not doing so, and then can't provide any evidence for truth of that claim.
Don't you think that if there was a God, he'd see through..."I'm going to believe in you... just in case... cuz I don't want you to send me to Hell."
In fact, I would think he'd find that pretty insulting. I would think that God would much rather us disbelieve honestly than to "believe" dishonestly without reason. At least God would KNOW that atheists have been on an HONEST search for truth.
And your claim that as far as you can tell, we have no purpose in life is incorrect. It's extemely self-absorbed and arrogant to presume that people have no purpose in their lives because they don't follow your religious beliefs. That type of statement just shows your ignorance, and your trememdous ego.
And what is the positive side to believe in evolution? That's simple. Evolution is fact. Evolution happens. Just because religious zealots want to close their eyes to the mountains of facts and evidence before them in favor of a 2000 year old book written by uneducated superstitious middle eastern sheep herders, does not make evolution any less fact. The positive side to BELIEVING in it is educating yourself. It's not buying in to blind belief in superstitious nonsense. It advances medicine. Do you get a flu shot or other vaccinations? Then YOU believe in evolution, too.

How do you know you are trusting the right god? There are 1,000's of gods that people have invented in the past. One of them might be the right one. Several of them might be the right one. None of them might be the right one.
If you believe in Jesus and it turns out that Apollo is the "right one" then you are in big trouble. Why are you taking such a risk ?

As a Christian I find these types of questions odd. Belief in Christ comes from the gift of the Holy Spirit birthed in the heart of a sinner who hears the gospel and believes by faith.
If it came down to a cosmic shell game, why not believe everything therefore you have skin in the game somewhere ....

This is the most umimportant "question" by a christian troll I have seen yet. Congratulations! At least you didn't have to hide in the Polls & Surveys category and ask True or False "questions" in a lame attempt to convert the heretics.
