LV,
Who, besides yourself, said that "they do"? I never said such a thing and I have never read it in any other church member's writings on here. You are generalizing again. Have a great weekend and a wonderful week.
Thanks,
Eds

They weren't. I suppose it's possible that they were some type of neanderthal. The origin of the races didn't happen until after Noah and the flood, when the descendants of the three sons Shem, Ham, and Japeth were scattered as a result of their sin at the Tower of Babel. Japeth is considered by most scholars to be the father of the Caucasoid race and all its variant ethnicities, Shem the father of the Semitic people, and Ham the father of the ******* race. Not sure exactly where the Asians come in--I have wondered that before but haven't heard it explained or studied it enough to be authoritative.

Maybe because in the beginning God created his son in his own image, the light of the world a living spirit and having complete darkness in the world. On the third day and according to his word he created the sun the moon, stars to bring forth energy, and pigmentation to his creatures. Then Adam and Eve had color in their skin. that why Caucasians fled into the mountains, because the want to be closer to GOD like in the beginning.

Not all do. You're stereotyping (but I suspect you know that already). Most people view Adam and Eve as they have been taught to do so, which is as Caucasians. Others, perhaps owing to their culture, might view them as ******* or Mongoloid. Personally, if they existed at all, I believe that they would have been dark-skinned with Middle Eastern features.

Not all christians do view Adam and Eve as caucasian. Some view them as "middle eastern" some as black, some as white. We tend to picture our "icons" as something we relate closely to, so it makes sense that different people will have different mental images of these two characters.

Does it really matter how Christians or any other group view Adam and Eve? The bible doesn't state their ethnicity so it mustn't be very important, therefore it isn't important to me and I suspect it isn't important to a lot of people. Just like the color of their hair isn't important, likewise the color of their skin isn't important. Good luck. 2D

Its part of the ridiculousness of the whole interpretation of the Bible. How many white people do you think existed 2000 years ago in Judea? How many people from that era and area do think were named Mathew, Luke or John?
"Yes, this my brother John, and my name is Steve, and this is our blond sister Sally. We all live in Judea in the year 30. Would you like some mayo on your ham sandwich?"
Its so obviously manufactured for the appeal of early Europeans.

That's a pretty generalized question, don't ya think? All Christians do not believe the same thing about anything. Some may, but not all. And besides - who knows what color they were. Does it really matter?

I'm a Christian but I don't believe that they were Caucasians, how on earth would I know their skin colour and why would it matter? Besides, none of us know the conditions in the Garden Of Eden.

That's a sweeping statement.

I think it depends what your ethnic background is as to how you view the past.

Why do Artist paint picture of ancient event in the dress of there time.

I don't view them as any certain race. They had to be very dark skinned considering the area they lived in. Don't dump all Christians in the same group.
