She really needs to visit a specialist. Any number of disorders can cause this-parasitic infection(bacterial/viral/insects), chemical imbalance, chemical exposure(not allergy related)-soaps, make up, perfumes and so on, diabetes(high sugar levels), kidney failure(high ammonia levels), liver failure(although the whites of her eyes would be yellow),allergies, and so on.Visit naturescorner.com, my website.

~I'm happy to see a husband concerned about his wife. She is your wife "in sickness and in health." She really needs you right now, and it won't be easy. She should be seeing a counselor and at least a medication management doctor to monitor her medications. This seems to be an ongoing problem that someone has put a band aid on. I think she's afraid she's going crazy, and the comments from everyone assure her that everyone else thinks so too and this terrifies her. You need to let her know that you are there for her no matter what, and that no one hates her. Stay calm, even if she gets angry. If you hated her, you would have left her, correct? I think she's lucky to have such an understanding and caring husband. To stay on the medications, which she needs to, she needs to continue to see a counselor who will prescribe them. With that comes regular counseling to get to the root of the problem. This isn't fun, and can take a long time. Suggest that you go together, because you want to support her. Since she's seeing things, I'm guessing that she may be bi-polar, among other things. Either way, she'll always be feeling the way she is, possibly even worse, if she doesn't get help. I don't think she wants that, I think she would like to be a better wife and mother. You can email me if you like. Good luck to you and your family, hang in there.~ **I don't know about forcing her into getting help, she'll just be angry with you. You can't have her committed unless she's suicidal or is a threat to someone else. I do agree with the two of you working this out with a professional, AND without the help of either side of your families.

I know that when you are diabetic, your skin will itch and nothing you do will stop it. I would suggest that she have some blood work done to see whether or not she is diabetic.
