They just pay off the family and move the priest to a new parish out of state, it has happened. It's pure hypocrisy and politics.

The child molesting priests and much of the Catholic church remind me of the Pharisees. Rather then admit there is a problem in the church they just clean the outside, while the inner filth continues to rot.
As far as homosexuality goes, many Christians place this sin above all others. Homosexuality is a sin, and like any other sin, once it is repented it can be forgiven.
How many of us commit sin every day, and don't think twice about it. Have you cheated on your taxes, checked your personal email or made personal calls during work hours, lusted after a cute waitress, or just continue to hold a grudge with someone. I'm not sure any of us are in a position to start throwing any stones.

Both are wrong and disgusting--the pedophile priests even more so because they are committing these sins even as they hold themselves up as leaders in the church.
Nowhere in the Bible does it forbid priests/ministers from being married--the vow of celibacy imposed on priests and nuns that has got to be at least examined as a factor in this perversion is NOT Biblical. I'm sure the Catholics won't like this post, and I may get a violation, but it's the truth.
I have Catholic friends that I feel have a sincere personal relationship with Christ, but it's like they got there in spite of their church's teachings, not because of them. I love these follow Christians dearly and pray for them and others not to be caught up in false doctrine and apostasy.
BTW, churches that endorse same-sex marriage are also apostate.

Not every church has priest. Homosexual is a sin aganist God and should be dealt with according to the laws of God. Homosexuals should be welcomed into the church, but not to be apart of the church, until they are saved. In other word like teach, hold an office in the church.

Very good question!!!! It boils down to either having money, social standing or religion.
If you belong to any of the above then you can move the goal posts any time and for whatever reason you like.
No wonder so many people don't like the catholic church.

Most priests are selfish gays that want to go to heaven. They think that just because they are being a priest that the they get into heaven but most have very small will power and no adult would sleep with a priest so they aim at kids.... need I say more?

You can find stuff in the bible that you can interpret as meaning homosexuality is bad, but no one has come up with anything that says molesting children is bad. No commandment against it.

It's worse than hypocrisy it is a crime! One no longer (in most countries) goto jail for homosexuality but they do for raping children. Thats why!

i was baptised roman catholic,, usto go to church,,sit, kneel , stand ,, listen to the word of god,,but then i learned that you do not have to go to ( man's) church to worship god,,, he can hear me praying from anywhere,,,they do more than cover up their crimes of fornication,,,, they steal the money from the people who need it to buy their luxuries ,,, they talk about saving the homeless yet they lock up their church,,, god don't need your money,,he has no use for it,,,i feel if they are going to spread the word of god,,,they should live up to the vows they took ,,,

Because people who choose that lifestyle don't realize that they are going to HELL if they don't repent and come out of that lifestyle.
And the Catholic church is false!
Stay away from denominations and organized religion. Just read your bible, pray and stay close to JESUS! Everyone is judged on their own beliefs and works, and whether or not they obey God.
