Yes. When I was a senior in high school, I was dating a
sexy, handsome guy from another school. After he came
to the house a couple of times, my dad said..."no way"..
I threw a fit and didn't talk to my parents for a week. The
same week the guy was thrown in jail for auto theft!!
Sometimes, parents know best. As you get older, you
won't even remember the last names of some of these
people, but if you pick the wrong ones from lack of
experience, their influence could last a lifetime. Best
listen to your folks. They've been there and they
love you and want you to have the best opportunities
out there...and if you insist, you can make the horrible
choices on your own once you're an adult..and pay
the consequences.

if you are still living with your parents and you are still a minor, you should do what they say. Parents are usually right about these things. If you are still in high school, there is no boy (and I do mean boy) that is important enough to cause problems with your parents. I know you think you know it all and this is your one true love, but think about it....you have your whole life ahead of you, your college years are ahead and there are tons of guys in college to pick from. you will get over it!!

He/she that pays the bills make the rules. Parents are not a democratic society they are a dictatorship. If they don't like someone then that person is outta there.

No - but they are more experienced than you in discerning the character of people, so it may be wise to consider why they don't want you to see the person. they only have your best inrest at heart & dont want you to be hurt or disappointed later on.
