Something kids forget today - How you behave at table, your manners and such, and how you show respect for elders is a reflection on you and your parents. Take it seriously.

If it's the "Dad, mom, I want you to meet ---" then it might be serious. But if it's just you two at his house and his dad happens to go past, you've just met his dad and there's no pressure.
