Well, is it wrong to state to them that you accept their beliefs, in order to save the life of your loved one, all the while, secretly, keeping what you believe to be true?

Forcing someone to state something they do not believe, I think, cannot be held against them.
It is the same question as the Catholic priests in Poland taken during the Jewish raids by the Nazis were told to kill their own congregation members or the Nazi's will kill the children, they took prisoners.
Imagine that!
You are a preacher and you have to kill your congregation members or witness the death of children!

Hmmm... and yet, there are those idiots out there, that claim, it never happened.

For the best trick Satan ever pulled on humanity, was to convince us that he doesn't exist!

Assuming the people pointing the gun are mad, should we reason with such people and tell them what we believe?

Many have laid their lives down to hold fast to what they believe. The situation will guide the Christian on what to say and do (Mark 13:11).

>Noah was left by the whole village
>Ayub (Job) suffered an illness for 18 years
>Moses was chased by Egyptian pharaoh for the rest of his life
..the list goes on, but still, they consistent with their belief

I might SAY I believe (or don't believe). I might ACT as if I do or don't. When lives are at stake, I have no problem playing along. They can't control my mind - they can only control my actions.

My Goddess would think very ill of me if I made no effort to save the life of one I love. She knows what is in my heart, and she knows words have no equal to conviction of soul.
