Is there are spiritual explanation (besides the christian faith and the "devil") about why so many people are so rude, mean, two-faced, backstabbing, ignorant, and just willfully nasty? Do you believe it is to improve people as a whole through trial and error or is it because of past life regrets? Or is it because people have no spirituality sense these days?

I believe it's a mixture of things. I can remember myself not being so nice. I realize today that I just didnt know what I just didnt know. I believe our character is strengthened when we dont allow ourselves feed into negative energy. To me, some people feel that they need to act like that. Maybe it's fear-based, or the need to try to control, to try to feel superior, past hurts...There can be so many reasons, people hide behind "hate". I always just try to remain grateful when I encounter a person of that nature, because I dont have that kind of "fear" today. I know in the long run that I'll improve the quality of my life by sticking to being a good person and my beliefs. Hard sometimes? Extremely! but I cant stand when I walk away feeling that big ball of guilt, shame and remorse in the pit of my stomach because I know better. Sorry for rambling. I hope that I gave you a piece of my serenity on how to deal with those kinds of people. Blessings to you.

Learning how to behave morally takes time and effort. Some people don't seem to want to spend the time on themselves, or their children, to develop themselves into more moral beings. We live in an era of materialism, and excess in this country amoung some people. This does not alway lend well to moral development, and concern for the greater wellbeing of others, who share this world with them, that have little. We have bigger consequences morally today, because our technology has so much impact. This technology could do wonders, if we had the moral strength to use it, to help solve more of our problems, rather than to keep creating bigger ones. The world is a struggle. But, if we would improve our morality using meditation, mind-body exercises, and other training techniques, along with the best spiritual and moral ideas we could find, we could make a difference in human behavior, and change the world for the better.

"The pain-body then becomes an unconscious entity within. It seeks to feed on pain to survive. It makes a person feel pain and it causes this person to inflict pain on others.

all people have good and evil inside of them....we have the capacity for beautiful dreams and horrible nightmares...its just a matter of which side is winning...some people who live in a nightmare want to make it jsut as bad for others.....some people are just way to bored with their own lives to do anything else but cut others down...anyone can make another person feel like trash....but to make someone happy is to have a gift

People over spiritalize "karma" it is an Indian word for action or activity.
The activity of your mind and the habit of your attention is your karma.This represents where your soul is in the journey.Regardless of your chosen dogma!

THIS QUESTION U JUST DIDNT COME UP WITH OUT OF THIN AIR.. its intent is to cause dissention to those that have a partial knowledge . , may i suggest some things ? 1. IN the bible in matthew 24 v12 n 13 lawlessness will abound and the love of many will grow cold!! it states also that false prophets or easier to understand false messangers, , those ministers that say they love GOD AND ARE CALLED TO PREACH but in actuality are not ,, they be not fully saying what the bible itself expresses. , 2 .! WE ARE TOLD BY THOSE ignorant to the full truth, that if u die u go straight to heaven JESUS says differently ! by listening to these ministers say smoooth things people want to hear , jesus pronounced that we are to stay grounded and overcome to the end and then w e will be saved !!
can u not see then its HE HIMSELF JESUS that says we are to endure trials and overcome and HE WILL return for us at the end??. if GOD IS LOVE AND JESUS IS GOD and the HOLY SPIRIT guides us into truth can we overcome IF WE REFUSE TO LISTEN TO HIM?? will we not as little children do, get lost when we think we can over come on our own and that we dont need to follow clear instructions
to me , and u are free to believe whatever u like, isnt it better to listen to the instructions fully before trying to live in a world where others are going about listening to whoever sounds good to them??, when i find myself troubled like martha was isnt it better to take time out at jesus feet as did her sister and like the song in the old hymnals ponder a new at what the almghty has done ??. we all are short on patience from time to time so admit it and ask for help from the only one that can leads us from temptation and give us the power to over come! isnt it so nice to hear the words I AM SORRY? . HAVE we become so proud today we wont admit when we err or sin ?? can we not humble ourself like little children and say LORD i blew it again IM SORRY forgive me HELP ME AGAIN TO SEE how to walk the way u designed me to do>?? think about it .. bro murray

no how can this be to improve these people if they themselves are not trying to improve themselves. however, to each his own. everyone is entitled to do what they want and to project whatever character they want. it does not necessarily mean that they have no spirituality, its just that they may be spiritual however not all spiritual people are good people. thats just it, they are spiritual but their personality is just that. you cant change that. what you are is what you want to be.

I think it is because they/we are ignorant and unenlightened. Ignorant in the sense that they/we are in fact unenlightened.
