The series of books by John Douglas are excellent. He looks at serial killers from a profiling perspective, and he basically helped pioneer the field of Criminal Profiling, so he knows what he is talking about.

Green River Running Red. It's about the serial killer in Seattle/Tacoma area, Gary Ridgway. He's supposed to have killer over 70 women. Anne Rice is the author, she has wrote a ton of true crime and this was the first one I read that she wrote but a good story nonetheless.

In Cold Blood is another great classic. T.C. did a great job on that as well.

It was a publication concerning computer crimes! The only crimes you get away with are those that are never realized in the first place! If you want to get away with murder be a medical examiner first or a soldier in a combat theater!

The book is called "The Last Serial Killer. I heard it was better then the real story. I read it myself and loved it.

Helter Skelter top's my list. It is well written and a fascinating look at one of America's most notorious inmates, Charles Manson.

"Murder in the Heartland" series, by Harry Spiller..look into them. They're honestly really good, and written semi-police-report style, too.
