You could simply read them and broaden your horizons a little. You don't have to agree with his beliefs or change your own, but learning more about others is never a bad thing. If he persists, let him know where you stand.

I do exactly no longer stick to the religion - i'm a Christian :) i've got not got a situation with human beings being Islam nonetheless simply by fact incredibly everyone has the in simple terms right to have faith what they %. i in my opinion think of Islam may well be somewhat sexist at cases, yet then i assume i do no longer incredibly understand why so I shouldn't remark on it on a similar time as i do no longer understand why.

Did you ever get into talking about religion - maybe he got the wrong impression and thought you would be interested.
If you are not interested just be kind and say thank you, that you appreciated him giving you the literature, you are happy and confident in who you are and just give the literature back.

I am Muslim and my neighbor was very interested in Islam and wanted to learn more about it. I gave her literature - but only on making sure that this was what she wanted.

Islam does not push/force religion on anyone (it is the choice of an individual) - if you are interested that is fine but if not just be kind and return them back.

I am sure that he would not offended as neither would I be.

He loves Islam, and he wanted to share information about Islam with you. I don't believe he meant any harm to you and wasn't trying to get you to embrace Islam. Even if you're not interested in embracing Islam, check out the books at your leisure.

The Quran tells jews and christians "come to common terms" (chapter 3).
Probably thats what he is trying to do,
I think theres no harm reading. YOu always have a choice of disagreeing.

I would think it would be to educate you. I love learning about other religions so I would take the books in the spirit of his wanting to introduce you to his beliefs. If he starts asking you to convert or giving you a hard time about your choice of religions that's when you need to let him know (in a nice way) that you're not willing or ready to change.

i think he expects you to read them and atleast understand his religeous beleifs better. wouldnt it be nice for you if he made an effort to understand your faith better? part of the problem in christianity is we close our minds to knowing or even understanding other aspects of our own faith or the faith of others.
