I am trying to get some new boots, im in a support unit so I won't be kicking in doors or anything like that. Just need boots that are light and breathable, these army issued stink after some time. Any suggestions? personal expierence would be the best, free shipping is what I'm looking for since Im in Italy.

If you want some light boots that are light and breathable, try the oakley's. I got both the summer and temperate.
Just make sure you conform to 670-1 when ordering boot height. I see too many troops out there ordering the 6 inch boot height (out of reg) instead of the 8 inch.
Don't order the ebay oakley boots. They are made in china and are crappy and expensive ($220 ish).
Contact Oakley Government Sales at the cited source below. You'll find the boots are made in the U.S. and are about $130 a pair.
Your feet will thank you. The boots wear like walking on a slice of heaven compaired to the ACU issue boots. I would suggest buying a pair of summers first before buying the temperate just to make sure you like them.
One last thing. You have to scan your military ID/police ID and submit a form (on the website instructions) to purchase gear from there. Its easy but depending on stocking issues, you may wait up to a month to get your gear. They also sell other stuff at cost like sunglasses and gloves....

Be careful with that, they just came out with a list of boot restrictions for us to wear in the Army...

Wash your feet more, wear cotton not polyester socks and soap the socks (that is apply hand soap to the socks) use foot talc, and change the socks at least twice a day that will cut down on the smell.
