I've found that aspirin, ibuprofen or naproxen (I hope I'm spelling that right) work very well, but you have to take them regularly, not just when the pain strikes.
I could be wrong, but I don't believe that Tylenol is an anti-inflammatory. And many of the anti-inflammatories can also cause excess stomach acid. I had a doc tell me to use an over-the-counter acid reducer each day (at the time, Tagamet was the best, but there are lots more now) while I was using the naproxen.
I would take the naproxen every 12 hours during a flare up of joint pain, even if I wasn't in pain at that moment. It helped a lot. But your doctor could help you choose the best combination of meds (Rx or not) for your case much better than we can.

There is tylenol, ibuprofen, aleve - anything that acts as a pain/anti-inflammatory. Some of the exercises you are doing could be keeping your joints inflamed. Look at what exercise are doing and what areas it is straining. Maybe you need to do more gentle exercises and let the sore areas heal. Heat appplied over a sore area about 30 minutes after and ibuprofen dose is the way to maximize pain relief. You don't have to go to prescription medications yet - you are too young unless you have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. You can take care of this yourself.

First moving to a hot climate will not help. Second you do not state what 'type' of Arthritis? Third if you do have Arthritis you should be seeing a Rheumatologist! Their is NO CURE for Arthritis, so at 26, you really need expert help, if you wish to remain mobile for life. Good Luck

THERE ARE CERTAIN THINGS WHICH HAVE HARDLY ANY ALTERNATIVE; RA IS AMOUNG THEM.
YOU WILL HAVE TO KEEP YOU IN WARM ATMOSPHERE.
Warm clothing, warm food and water will help you.
There is no medicine for H/A, RA, OA, Back ache and almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress,
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy etc are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 90% success in treating ALL PAINS confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I treat it with SHREE SWASTHYAYOG THERAPY, but how can you manage pl see.
Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.
The useless drugs have tremendous power of side effects like liver/kidney failures, ulcer, inflammation of intestines and lot more.
Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, stale bakery foods.

Fish oil helps.
An alkaline diet also helps as it reduces your acidity levels. Perhaps a web search for "alkaline diet" might be useful.
