I had them removed 4 days ago and I am still feeling very sore where the teeth used to be. When should I be able to take myself off the pain killers?

I felt like I had a whole in the side of my head for a week after having one pulled. You should start feeling better soon, especially if when you wake up and its not been bleeding, mine done that for a couple nights after I had it pulled.

everyone heals at a different rate. it also depends how they were removed. if they were impacted and removed surgically it can take awhile. it took mine about 2 weeks to feel better. if they were in and just pulled, it shouldn't take as long. be patient and follow the dentists orders...you'll feel better soon.
