My mother died when I was 15 and my father has never really been a part of my life, has anyone ever heard of finding surrogate parents at this age? and if so, where would one find such a thing?

Hi,
I am touched by your need to have parental love and care. I hope you will soon have all the love and care you deserve.
I dont know about where you could get the info you look for, but, I dont think it is never late for anything in life. You are very young and you could always be a good daughter, perhaps even like a child. But be careful when you interact with people with such yearning for love and affection. You should not get into troubles. One way is to have good support through friends and depend on them for your love and affection while you continue to look for parents. Take care..

You probably could find info at Adoption.com. There are istances I have heard of where it has been done toperpetuate a name ect. But it also means, sometimes of, severing biological ties.
