Here's the situation:
- I can't open any PDF files on my university's lecture material site
- I've got three computers installed with the latest versions of acrobat reader and firefox but all three can not open the file
- The files could be opened three weeks ago on the same computers
- The files can now be opened on any other computer (e.g. library computers) except for mine
- No settings were changed on any of my three computers
HELP asap!

download foxit.
it works great, it's free, and it's much faster, and more reliable then Acrobat reader.

If you try to open the pdf directly via browser, try to click tool -> add-on then you should be able to find an add-on particular for handling pdf files

For me, I normally downlad that pdf to the harddisc and then open it directly with Acrobat reader, so that the anti-virus can double scan that file.

i'm assuming it is frequently a secondary tough skill on your technique (simply by fact you wrote "extra beneficial")...have you ever checked the settings below "Disk administration" to make specific that is formatted wisely? (ie-NTFS, FAT32, and so on) additionally, is the disk secure or are there restrained permissions? ensure you're logged in as an administrator and check out those settings...it would sparkling it up. magnificent sturdy fortune.
