Not unless you're willing to go against the army with a BB gun. The UK has strict gun laws and even the police aren't allowed to carry guns. The laws need to be even stricter still and better controls placed on any weapons currently in the UK.
My Fiancee, American, can't seem to get her head around the fact that the public is very against guns and even prison guards have no access to them.

Why would a revolution be started at this stage in the game? I can see something forth coming due to immigration and things such as that but not a civil war over something like that.

No, I have not got mine yet.
What really hisses me off most of all is the fact that my Mum, God rest her soul, actually handed over our prized family posession, a German sub-machine-gun, a Mauser, I think, to the fuzz during a gun amnesty back in the 1960s.
I could just do with that weapon right now.
The weapon in question above was stolen from a dead Nazi by my dad somewhere near the German border in c1944/45.

There are a lot of automatic weapons in UK and a revolution can be staged anytime if there is a valid reason.
