Does this mean we have sealed the borders, solved all of the murders and created peace in our time.

Is life so good that all that law enforcement has left to do is chase baseball players who might have juiced? Even a jerk like Bonds.

PS I am a Yankees fan.

Politically motivated prosecution...wow, new concept.

That's just the point. Bonds is NOT being indicted for drug use or for violating any other drug law on the planet.

Bonds was indicted for LYING about using a perfectly legal drug. This is not about Bonds violating state law or federal law for drug use or dealing. This is not about Bonds breaking MLB rules by shooting up. Bonds broke no law and as far as is known broke no rules, regulations, statutes or even promises.

He lied in court. That's perjury and hindering justice.

He's on the hook for lying. And if he were a third string catcher or a middle relief pitcher whose prosecution wouldn't make some lawyers and judges movie stars we wouldn't be having this conversation.

He's a liar, a cheater (wife and family), a backstabber, disloyal and a racist. And I'd love to punch him right square in the middle of that melon like head with his trademark scowl

They are trying his personality and character (which in his case is a capital offense) and not his deeds and actions.

The only way this could be more embarrassing for the USA and MLB is if Bush & Cheney some how got involved in it.

While I understand your sentiment....we really do have more pressing issues to address.....

I am so glad he has finally been indicted.

I feel the entire steroid brouhaha...is stupid...and another big brother, nanny state invasion of privacy......having said that,

Maybe the indictment will wipe that smug look off Bonds face.

He might see prison time - what a shame. Another fallen role model.
