i was wondering if intimate relations are really that bad, and I would like tp know what you all think.

I think that I'm in love with my math teacher. I'm 16 and in highschool, and Im guessing hes in his thirties. I'm extremly mature for my age, and we've connected on a deeper level. I'm not attracted to him physically , and I honestly do think I'm in love with him. I'm tired of hearing that the age difference would emotionally mess me up, and thsr i would feel bad agtetward. Someone in their thirties would not be the oldest i have dated. My friends think its weird, so im just curios to what you all think.

It is just infatuation. If you consider all the advice of others who question the relations, you go ahead and go as far as you can to see where it takes you to. You are still 16 only, and not legally in a marriageable age. If the teacher guy promises to marry you, rest be assured that he will be landing himself in trouble.

well ... i might have some experience with this. My boyfriend was my substitute teacher when i was a senior in high school. We just talked at school and some on the computer .. but we never really hung out outside of school. The weekend after I graduated, we went on our first date, and since that date we have been together. He is 7 years older than I am, but that really doesn't make a difference. In your case, I am worried that the teacher would get in trouble and what do your parents say? I mean, my dad was totally cool with my boyfriend, considering that I was 18 at the time, so I think that you would need to talk it over with him and make sure that ya'll both know the consequences if you did start dating. If you are truly in love, go for it, I did and I have never been happier. We are gettin married when I graduate nursing school.

I hope this helped and good luck !!

"I think that I'm in love with my math teacher." was you're opening statement, that in itself opens up the question that even you are not sure what is happening here. You do not have to be attracted to someone physically to find them attractive or appealing. What do you mean exactly when you say you have connected with him on a "deeper level".I would be interested to hear your interpretation of that statement. I cant condone a student teacher relationship as you know without me telling you, that this would be career suicide for him, let alone the morality of the situation. You obviously have a "thing" for older men as you say he would not be the first older guy you have dated. Maybe ask yourself why you are so attracted towards men of that age.? At the end of the day you are 16, so you are old enough to know that even thinking about a relationship with this man is wrong, not because of his age but because of his position. Maybe you are just a very mature 16 old and you're friends are not at the same maturity level as you and this is why they think it weird. Be careful here Hun its very dangerous ground you are walking on. Intimate relationships are not a bad thing at all, but they are when they involve a man in his position of trust.

Intimate relations between teachers and students are increasing. The reason is non inclusion of moral science and free distribution of condoms etc.
Over 2500 cases (annually ) against teachers are reported as misuse of students. There may be many unreported cases. The deterioration of moral values in educational instutions is shocking and requires immediate corrective action.
