Ok the book of John tells you clearly starting in the 1st chapter:
1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was fully God. 1:2 The Word was with God in the beginning. 1:3 All things were created by him, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created.
This passage clearly states that Jesus and the Father eternally existed in complete equality and harmony and that Jesus created all things. So the God of creation is Jesus. Much of the evidence for this is in the Greek construction of the passage.
As for Marcion, Tertullian tells us that he started with Stoicism as his foundation. Then he drifted into his own brand of Gnosticism and according to Irenaeus he basically ripped out the parts of the scriptures that had to do with the creation. Further, Irenaeus tells us that he declared himself to have superior authority than the Apostles. So basically he was a freelancer. I would not pin the hopes of my eternity on such a one...
