We don't that is a HUGE generalization!
I am a Christian and I don't have anything against Muslims!
Only fundamentalist Christians hate Muslims and the way Muslims are portrayed in the media makes them look bad and it exaggerates the fact that Christians hate them!

Evil, yes; gross, not necessarily. Another Question that I fielded shows the full extent of what I termed the Galatians 5:17 conflict:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20071105113015AArOWee
Muhammad was the epitome of one who lives by the flesh even before the experiences that eventually would form the backbone of the Quran; ÎαÏαÐÏЮs, the Best Answerer on the referenced Question, gave the full detail, citing Sahih Bukhari's multi-volumed detail biography, plus a volume by Ibn Hisham and selected Suroth from the Quran itself. The Hadith goes into one of Muhammad's favorite strategies for exacting vengeance: the assassination raid, in which the target is deliberately deceived about the purpose of a meeting--a method common to the cloak-and-dagger world of clandestine warfare.
This behavior is an extreme version, in fact, of the Sanhedrin's scheming against Y'shua, which is better documented in St. John 8:13-58. I hold nothing personal against the followers of Muhammad, rather an enmity based on Muhammad and the teachings that survived him as a clear and present danger to all comers--especially as a corruption of the Truth.

Christians didn't worry about Zorastrians as much as Muslims ... that is because they were not as successful.
In reality, we are all realated.
Ishmael was the sourse of Muslims, Issac of Jews, and Jesus adopted Christians into His Abrahamic heritage

Actually I think Christians are more likely to take a second look before judging. We understand, at least, the power of religion and the importance of God. Christians are more likely to examine their own conscience, to wonder whether they are being fair or unfair, to reach out to others (who, after all, need salvation just as we do).
I'd worry more about the people who are hostile to all religion or worship of God.

Where do you people come up with this stuff?
The Muslim religion is anti-Christian, that's for sure. But Christian's don't hate Muslims. We certainly don't think of them as "evil and gross".

I don't think that Christians hate Muslims but they resent the Islamic Ideology of the Genders. Islamic Radicals who say, "Convert or Die" don't help either.

Maybe because what medias have been showing to them, example - suicidal bombing, which is counts as syahid if you do it for Islam. In common eyes, that usually seems like a wasting one's life but well as I said before... It counts as Syahid if you're doing it for Islam.
