Weirdly enough this is quite a common phobia! It's called Alektorophobia. You can get treatment for it, no one will think you are mad! There are weirder phobias out there (like a fear of baked beans!!)

It's not as bad as falling in a vat of acid or accidentally killing your dog by throwing a stick into a blender while it's on.
bad has a whole sliding scale and on a scale of 1-10 where 10 is bad (think Ghostbusters - end of the world, dogs and cats living together....) a fear of chickens is a 1.

Bad? It probably won't kill you or severely effect your life.
But I would work on getting over it. They're just chickens. You don't need to like them but it's irrational to be afraid of them. Maybe you could go to a farm and walk about while there's chickens around.

No lots of people are afraid of weird things, to be honest with you chickens are quite freaky and they do scare me a bit too, so dont threat your not the only one!

No its not bad, everyone is scared of different things.
Think about how many people have a fear a spiders, theyre so tiny, chickens make more sense!

If you are hardly ever around them, then being afraid of them is probably no big loss.
But if you want to overcome this fear, start learning as much as you can about them and try to be around them in non-threatening situations.
After ally, you're a lot bigger now.

well i dont think that it will have a detremental affect on your life! if you live in the city then you shouldnt have too many chicken attacks!
