Yes. Don't take a chance with someone who isn't certified to really perform surgery. I have heard of dentists who fancy themselves plastic surgeons, if he is board certified then it definitely means that he went to school for plastic surgery and that his doctorate isn't in something else.

He's board eligible- so he is completely trained in plastic surgery.
