God is not a person as we as humans may think of.
I think Allen has answered this very well, so I'll leave well enough alone.
The word of God says, "If any lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him." James: 1: 5.

Nowhere can we find in the Bible that Jesus is a "personal savior". But Christ is a savior. Of what?
Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the Savior of the body.
What is the body that Christ will save?
Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

You got it right. Jesus said:
"For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son."
( John 3)
With Jesus we gain peace with God. And so escaping condemnation, the wrath of God is not for those who have gained peace with God.
We are declared children of God, citizens of a Heavenly Kingdom, holding onto nothing on Earth too tightly.
Jesus promised the Holy Spirit to the believers at the end of John 15, and in the midst of John 16, and He claimed many times that He and the Father are one.
So you got it.

That is a simple way to state the Gospel. It lacks much detail but is sufficient for understanding.
God loves all men so much He gave His only Son to pay the price of bringing man back to Him. All you have to do is present yourself to God and confess to Him that you need His help. Tell Him you do believe in His Son and ask His forgiveness for your sins.
It is that simple. All that remains is to seek baptism. There is a very special advantage to this that will not disappoint. We are taught that when we are baptized we will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit who comes to live within us.

Are your question about Jesus being your personal saviour or is it about the trinity of God? Two different things
You will just get a confusing explanations here, because people answer with alterior motives. You need to go to specific Christian websites or forums, or better, directly speak to you pastor/priest.
Allen got a great explanation there of the trinity of God that I agree with.

Everyone needs to accept Jesus to get to his father, I really don't know about the rest of the stuff you said, but I do believe it is Catholic, may be wrong.

God so loved the world that He wanted to relate to man in his form as a body that lives on earth, just like man in form, needs and circumstances. This was done by taking on a body, Jesus, that is called Emmanuel too, which means, God with us.
Please look at yourself and find that you do have a spirit, your link to the spiritual world, also, a soul that links you to the social world, the soul is your personality, character, your passions , feelings, this part of you connects you to the others and drives your body in different directions in life, which in turn gets fed through your spirit by the spiritual world.
Now your body is the visible and tangible part of yours that we can see and relate to materialistically, so you are a triune in one. Spirit, soul and body. This is created in the likeness of God who is The father, the Godhead, the leader (decision maker), like the spirit in you. The Holy Spirit of God, the one that is likened by your soul, the one that brings God's will to us as He brought it to the body, Jesus, at that time on earth, to be lived, He is the One that drives the body, and so there is the Son, the visible part, the part that came in touch with us, just like when my personality contacts yours through my body, hand shake, eye contact, voice, etc...
Well, Jesus, the tangible part of God, the One that has all what is of the Father, (this is why He is called the Son, the one that carries all is what belongs to the Father). Now that the son came to this world as a regular man, he partnered with us and even united with us not just as a friend but even as a brother, so as He is the Son of God, He passed to us the sonship to the same Father. This unity was "contractuated" not by ink but even stronger, by blood.
Now, He passed to us the verse that you quoted, "to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God"
he passed over to our world that we can pass over with Him to His world. How great is the love of God. Glory be to God, the God of LOVE. "GOD IS LOVE"

No where in the Bible does it say that God is 3 persons. If you are believing that, then you are believing what man is teaching you and not what God REALLY teaches you in his scriptures. Get a home Bible study and learn the TRUTH. That will help you more than anything.
