I think it mentions in the Bible somewhere about them getting together on Sundays and golfing.

Because without evil there would be no good. We would not know the difference. God needs to know who is faithful to him. How would god know our faith if there is nothing to test it? Even Satan had a purpose. God needs Satan for balance. It is all apart of the plan. I know this sounds funny but it is Satan that sends us on our path to god. Have you ever said to yourself? "This could not get any worse."sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't these trails in life only make us stronger. most people learn more when it happens to them first hand. There would be no need for faith if we never had anything to worry about. no evil, no bad things can happen, I have everything I need. For some reason that does not sound so comforting. It is hard to picture a life like that. What would we do all day? can't talk about the weather because the weather is perfect. A perfect world. NO work (You have everything you need) Nothing new to look forward to. Nothing bad could ever happen. Even perfect is not perfect.

Interesting, so if we presume this is just a fable, then i will go along with you for a moment. As far as i am familiar with the scriptures, the second death refers to being in torment, which does not end it is perpetual. Another reference, is a scripture that stated: "let the dead bury the dead, but you follow me". Life, Death, Perhaps the meanings here are more than of the conventional concepts held to be the norm. I realize this did not give an accurate answer to your question, but since it is speculation, factual input may serve to be to a greater advantage, would you not agree. If i am not mistaken in my reading of the scriptures, i do not believe a spiritual being ever comes into the state of non existence.

Say what? What humans has God himself killed for not agreeing with him?
God gave man the power to kill, then sat back to watch what we've done with that power.
As for killing Satan, those that have the power to kill Satan are us (by not choosing his evil ways). If no one chooses evil, Satan ceases to exist.
What are YOU doing about it?

Because God can't kill something that is real evil like Satan. Satan got his punishment to be banished from Heaven and to roam the earth and do evil things.

Not to come here and facepalm your beliefs, but Judeo-Christian beliefs contradict themselves time and again. Modern Christianity is probably perverted from the amount of time it spent in the hands of Catholic war/power mongers. Therefore, most idiosyncrasies like that occurred from people "making stuff up as they go." To try and take your standpoint, probably because people are inherently bad, and destroying Satan would destroy our free choice to do good or bad.

God created Satan in his likeness and he still loves him as his creation. Sure he's upset with him but loves him non the less!
And God doesn't kill everyone! They send themselves to Hell!
God wants everyone to come to Heaven but he gave them the free will to accept him or deny him. Satan was created as the most powerful Angel but he rejected God and God then created a place for him and all the damned souls to stay!
SO... If God WAS to kill Satan, he'd still end up in Hell!
LOL but he wouldn't for the reasons stated above!
God Bless!
