How do I know if I'm a good candidate for natural selection?

Is there a checklist or something I can consult? Cause I gotta tell you, I'm not feeling too confident about it.

Here is a simple test:

Have you ever said "Boy that was close" or "That was really dumb"

Once or twice - Not a very good candidate for a Darwin Award
Three to Seven times - You should think about life insurance
Seven to Ten times - A Will and prepaid funeral might be a good investment
Greater than Ten - It's just a matter of time

Natural selection works on the whole in a larger time frame. It has little impact on individuals over the short term. Did you miss that lesson in biology class?

If you have kids, you're successful, biologically. If you have 20 kids, you're better at the game of natural selection than the other woman who has none.

Now, if you want to find out if you have genetic disorders that you could pass on to your offspring, you can get that checked.

As I understand it, if you're a good candidate for breeding, you'll breed.

If not, you'll die.

I've always liked unambiguous criteria like that.
