I'm getting sick of the same old ham and turkey, or roast beef and swiss, or chicken salad. There's so many different kinds of breads and meats and cheeses out there in the world and I wanna try something different. So please tell me what your favorite sandwich is and how to make it.

Wow so many good options that I'm just gonna have to let the voters pick the best. Good luck and thanks.

My favorite sandwich is something I had a restaurant up in WA...it was awesome! It is a Turkey sandwich on grilled french bread with fresh roasted turkey, havarti cheese, cream cheese, cranberry sauce, Dijion mustard and red onion...it's fabulous!!!

Take the french bread, spread the mustard on both sides, layer the rest of the ingredients, and grill until brown.

YUM!!!

I'll stay with cold sandwiches.

Bread comes first...match the ingredients to that.

I'd choose what I like, since I'm playing chef.
That will make it a light sourdough.

OK. Next I meed a main ingredient--cheese or meat?
Both. Roast beef with Provolone very thinly sliced and Colby cheddar.

First spread the bread slices with Miracle Whip.
Add a good relish, not too much.
If you need to use greens, great--make it half Boston lettuce, half arugula, torn small, washed and patted dry with a paper towel.
Then add some fresh chives. Add sliced tomatoes, preferably cluster, cut very thin.
Then add the meat.
Then the two cheeses, provolone first.
If you have to add anything else, add it on top of the bread, such as a little grey poupon, heat ingredient such as Louisiana gold hot sauce, etc.
other additives include pre-sauteed yellow pepper and brown onion, green olives, bacon, etc.

Enjoy!
It isn't ordinary...Guaranteed!

Wow there are SO many good kinds of sandwich. I was going to say muffuletta but someone got there first :)
How about a monte-cristo [which is a 3 layer sandwich with turkey and ham that is dipped in egg and fried], or an oyster Po'boy. Oh or a warm brie or camembert sandwich YUM!

CHICKEN FILLET BREAKFAST SANDWICH

Ready-to-cook breaded chicken fillets can be found at the frozen section of the grocery. They are supposed to be cooked according to package instructions. Then cook a poached egg (sunny-side up; best when YOLK is WELL-DONE so as not ). Slice an English muffin horizontally, then line the inside of the bagel halves with mayonnaise. Place the cooked fillet on top of the lower half of the muffin, then carefully add the poached egg. Top of with the upper half of the English muffin.

Optional:
Ready-to-cook burger patties can be used as a substitute. Instead of mayonnaise, add a slice of cheese and/or tomato ketchup. Retain the poached egg and English muffins.

Peanut Butter And Jam Sandwich

First, fresh light rye, or Jewish sour rye. Two slices. Then, lean roast beef, sliced very, very thin. Red onion, butter lettuce, Kosher pickle slices, and deli mustard and mayonnaise. (Mustard goes on the beef side of the sandwich, and the mayonnaise goes onthe lettuce side).
Needs a side of either cucumber salad or a fine potato salad.
If I eat it at lunch, I have skim milk. If I eat it at dinner, a nice German style beer.

3. Black forest ham and havarti, grilled
