not because of calories (a cup of coffee with no sugar and no milk is about 5cal)...some people have very sensitive bodies and coffee can slow down weight loss and make you gain water weight (its diuretic)

Coffee (black) is flavoured water. No calories. It is a diuretic which means it will make you pee. This can be dehydrating so one should compensate by drinking plain water.
Now...if you add whipped cream and sugar and carmel or chocolate, you can turn a no-calorie drink into an 800 calorie drink.

Depends on how you prepare it. Taking it black is pretty healthy. If you start adding sugar and creamer then it starts getting fattening.
