Your car can get impounded until you pay all tickets plus a hefty fine.

They'll issue a warrant out for your arrest, and the next time you park your car on a public street with an expired parking meter, you may not find your car there when you get back!
Pay the tickets. It's not worth the added expense and aggravation.

For what it's worth, I always put even a quarter in a parking meter, even if I know I will only be 5 or 10 minutes. The quarter is sure a whole lot cheaper than my being too cheap to spring for the quarter and end up with an expensive parking ticket instead!

why to wait until "the worst" actually happen? If you have to pay, is better on time don't you think?

A friend told me, that he went to pay a parking ticket without complaining (that he had to pay and blah blah blah) and guess what... the person that was attending the payment of the infamous "parking tickets" say "no need to pay" as you are not bitching about it.. all day long I've been hearing everyone bitchin "Why do I have to pay..."....

:) Learn the lesson, ;) who know perhaps if is not too much even you find a person like the one that attended my friend?

It depends on where you live or where you get the fines.
It varies.
You could be served a summons, if you fail to appear in court, a warrant is issued and you are arrested.
You license could be suspended/revoked.
If you have outstanding fines, and you receive another, a "boot" may be put on your tire so that it cannot be moved from the place you're parked until you pay the fine.

Not paying your parking ticket's will lead to a several hundred
dollar "fine, plus interest."
If that is not paid, you get an "warrant for your arrest."
Then you "pay the fine and do the time." With a "felony" on
your record. Get ready for that "strip search." <|:-})-{*

A larger fine and/or some small jail time if it is substantial amount of money, you could also get a revoked license. Pay the stupid ticket :).

Sooner or later you will not be able to renew your license or registration. Your fines will be doubled, tripled and so on. It's best to pay them and try to make a deal with the judge if you can to get them lowered.

never mind the death penalty guy ... lol . Depending on how much they are ...you might lose your license and /or go to jail for a short period of time... again...it depends on your state and how much your parking tickets add up to..
