Christianity is so emotional because Christians know where people will end up if they don't except Jesus as there savior......If you are finding the sermons boring...then it's time for a change of churches...People are people...not all are good speakers.....

Any sermon or communicate on Christianity would desire to concentration on (hi?) CHRIST. If the sermon is on repentance from sin (an impressive subject), that sermon would desire to concentration on Christ. whether it fairly is approximately grace, love and mercy, the concentration of the sermon would desire to be Christ. it fairly is Christ we carry on with, no longer a catalogue of doctrines. The doctrines would let us know greater approximately Christ and supply us a clue-in as to the varieties of issues he's in all probability (and not likely!) to declare, yet they are able to by no ability be the concentration for a real follower of Christ. the concentration would desire to continually be the Lord of all, King of kings, the chief, the Bridegroom, the top, the Firstborn, the Elder Brother, the Captain of the Lord's Host, & and so on.

Well, people who have that feelings don't understand what really a Christian faith is. A mass is a celebration, it is not just an ordinary thing. And the sermons are all based on the scriptures. So if those people you mentioned are that ignorant, that means they don't go for celebration to seek the Lord.
Try to learn Christian faith and you will be save from hell.
God bless you and I hope He will shower you a lot of blessings.

"This seems like a way to crucify yourself over and over again every Sunday."
That's the idea. I think you are getting it.

Real Christian Churches are not boring. They are fun and exciting. We are so emotional because God has given us eternal life. He has replaced our sorrow and pain with joy, peace, and hope in the Holy Ghost. We are so grateful because He has shown us His Favor and has adopted us into His Family.

Becuase you don't apply those sermons to your own life. And because you can't let your life be changed with a straight face.

Christianity resorts to emotional appeals because it doesn't have facts and logic to back up its claims. They have to try to pressure you emotionally because their ideas cannot stand up on their own merits. This is a common strategy used by religions, politicians and most anyone who's trying to persuade you without informing you.

You need to go to a different church then. Our pastor is quite entertaining ..... and quite serious when he has to be. It is certainly no worse than having to sit through an hour of the evening news.
