I was hanging out with someone that I thought things were going really well with. The first time we kissed she said thank you which I didn't know how to take. She always gave me these really long hugs and stuff. She would say all these things that kept me thinking that things were progressing. Flirting, talking about childhood stuff, pictures etc. Sometimes we would hang for 2hours together and just watch a movie or something. I went over and made her dinner one time, and I thought that went well. She saw me on a Saturday, and said Ill see you on Tuesday. On Tuesday she texted me. Sorry, not interested in being anything but your friend talk to you later? What is going on here.

The problem is that I wanted more, but I don't think I let her know how I really felt. Is it possbile she was saying this to keep me from doing the same to her? Do women do that?

She might have a crush on some other guy or met another guy. You can probably try to impress her by doing nice things to her if you really want her.

It sounds like she realized that there were not any sparks there. You are not necessarily doing anything wrong. You just have to find the one for you. That is what dating is, weeding out the ones that are not right for you. Since she wants to be friends with you I am sure that you did nothing wrong, the romantic feelings were just not there for her. That is not a bad thing because all of us are like that, we click with some people but not with others. Keep looking, she is out there.
