it all depends on the state, like i lived in new mexico and it was like that in the whole state,now it changed but now you have to wait till noon to buy,my family still lives there.i live in arizona and have to wait till 10 to buy.

It's state law in Utah. There is not many place to sell the beer on Sunday. Because is morman religion.

It's not just in Utah County, some other states have that law too. Some people out there think that you should be in church on Sunday not getting boozed up (so then why do they have Sunday football? beer and football go hand in hand).

I know Mormon is a big thing in Utah. That could be why they don't sell alcohol on Sundays. Most likely though it's because of the religion and no one wants to offend anybody sort of thing.

In Alabama, there are many places that you can't buy on Sunday. I wonder if it was an attempt to get money that was normally spent buying alcohol to be put in the plate on Sunday...or to have you sober enough to go to church. Smart drinkers(drunks) will buy enough on Saturday to last through Sunday. :-)

its the morman religion. they rule there. and the beer is only 3 percent alcohol. about half the content of other states
