Probably not now. They were targeting mostly the people sharing files (you are not doing that now) and if you ever did, chances are they have your I.P. address on a list somewhere, but that list is SOOOOO ong and you are way at the bottom. Don't use it anymore and start downloading mp3s and CD in download format from Walmart.com (no monthly fee). Hope this helps.

Hi. Limewire is not the culprit. It is only a connection source for P2P. It the RIAA finds copywrited material on your drive they can (and do) sue for infringement. It is an intimidation ploy and seems to work. Most folks do not have the legal resources to fight them. $750 per song is a steep price to pay in my opinion but they have won many legal battles.

Yeah. And I wouldn't suggest doing it, as video and programs are a higher risking of infecting your computer, as they are larger then music files. When you use limewire not only are you putting yourself at risk to get in legal trouble, you are also putting your computer at risk of getting infected or even getting a hacker onto your computer. So use it at your own risk.

If you want videos, use itunes and youtube, much safer.
