This guy has had a crush on me for many yrs.But I always had a boyfriend and I guess I always thought he would be there chasing me or whatever.Anyhow this past year we got really close..on the phone..in person ect. Hes like my bestfriend..he says all the right things and does all the right things..he is that old fashion kind ..you know that fairy tale this and that and sitting on the porch in our rocking chairs when were old kinda guy..I really have fallen for him the problem is this..I have a lot im doing right now in my life and I don't want to have to deal with us being in a relationship you know.He told me he would let me get my life in order and wait as long as he knew in the end I wanted and was feeling the same as him..in return I told him I needed time and for us to go our own ways for awhile..he seemed okay with that at first but now its been 4 days since we talked and he won't talk to me! I know I strung him around ALOT!! but if he loved me wouldn't he had tried to call??

WAIT A MINUTE.
YOU told him you had a lot going on in your life, and that you 2 should go your own ways for a while.
that is exactly what he is doing.
If you want to talk to him, you should call him, but don't blame him for doing exactly what you asked him to do.

It doesn't seem to me that he can know that in the end you will feel the same as him. It doesn't seem as though you have ever felt for him what he has felt for you.

We have an admission of guilt. Strings wear out and they break if they are abused and not taken care of.

Do not let this man get away! There are so many of us in this world who wish we could find a man like that. Girl, do what ever it takes, but call him, email him, tell him you want to meet somewhere and the two of you need to start up a relationship. Do not let a good man like that slip away from you.

4 days is hardly the life time thing on the rocking chairs just take it a day at a time these things usually work out ok ~~
