i went through a really bad childhood . I almost thought of ending my life more than once. But i always fought back .

I graduated with an engineering degree lat year due to my mom's force.

My dreams were all shattered through manipulation and by withholding of love .

I lost the love of my life because of the way I was brought up , and i got jealous over her for simple things .She was ready to live with me but i got too needy in the end. I used to hate myself till last week for this .

but then something happened , i met this girl who wanted to help me and i got really mad at her for trying to help me. I realized .. there is no point in feeling sorry for myself.

I want other children in this world to have the happiness they have and never lose it , and if I can do anything about it , I want to do it and I will .

Where do you think I should start with such a line of though?

If you can save yourself, you can save others. Not before.

Saving others is an easy escape from saving yourself, but it won't work like that.

Thanks for asking this question, I'm taking my advice.

You say you are looking for an answer but don't want answers that you are not looking for? How can I answer that if I don't know you? I would say first you have to sincerely forgive those who abused you in your childhood. Forgive them with all your heart and don't continue to dwell on this. There are people who can help you do this and if you want to help needy people, especially impoverished children like you apparently were, then join the Salvation Army!

They can teach you how to forgive because you are forgiven and at the same time provide a full time way of life that fulfills your goal of wanting to help children, There are a "ton" of homeless and mistreated children out there.

I hope this is the answer you were looking for, good mental health, peace and Love!

Start by observing others around you it may be the little old lady in the grocery story who can't reach for something she wants on a to tall shelf.

You can volunteer at a homeless shelter or a animal shelter. You can become a big brother.

Donate money to a charity. Visit a nursing home lots of old people are forgotten about and ignored by their families they wold love a smiling face to connect with.

Find questions on here you can answer. It is not how may people you help at once you never know how your kindness and generosity will trickle down and touch so many lives because you reached out to help one.

You can become a Sunday School teacher churches are always looking for leadership.

Pray ask God to lead your path to show you who he wants you to help and he will. Helping others will heal many wounds you have endured and help you relate to others that have had a similar experience God can turn what was meant for evil into good meaning you were treated like crap scarred by it God can turn that pain into love for others.

I think you have made the first step by asking this question good luck and God Bless

First of all, you sound very bitter about your childhood. You should get therapy to sort it all out. You can't help others until you help yourself.
We've all had craziness in our childhood. But you were pushed to go to college, you got a degree and your other listed problems are just normal life stuff.
I think you need to count your blessings.

Go to a Care Center for Cerebral Palsy etc. Handicapped people. They will "light up your life" (after you get to know them)At first you'll feel sorry for them..then you'll realize that they're happier than you are...and you'll wonder why.!
