My daughter has braces and plays trumpet. It took her a couple of weeks to adjust, but now has no probs. Just stick it out!

Ever consider the piano? Percussion? Strings? How about the Harp?

You should stick with the instrument you already play, after a couple of weeks you won't even notice the braces.
