I can't participate in class or talk to anyone because I stutter slightly. What do I do?

Your best source for information on stuttering is The Stuttering Foundation of America. Our family used their book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" and found it so much help. The web site has online videos and brochures that are helpful, too.

First you have to get rid of the anxiety you feel, My uncle was struck by lighting when he was younger and developed this. He was always scared and nervous,because he had started to stutter. later he developed a since of humor about it, he would speak as if he was telling a joke, took the edge of trying to speak straight. When he had to do big things, like you, He asked everyone to not fixate on the stuttering, because you might..He would say, but to listen to what he was saying instead.You are not alone...

I had this problem aswell, i held my head up when i talked and took my time with words. i find that when i stutter im just trying to say the word faster for no reason. Also it helps if you talk to them in the face not looking away

IDK but im starting to develop a stutter when i talk and i think its mostly in my head im causing it the fact that im going through puberty doesnt help lol
