plhebob is correct... it is AutoCorrect, but that answer doesn't work for me, since I have Word 2007.

I think you mean AutoCorrect. In Word XP (2002) and probably the adjacent versions, you'd do that this way:

1. Click on the Tools->AutoCorrect Options menu item.
2. Select the AutoCorrect tab if it's not already selected.

The list will be at the bottom of the dialog box.

Open Word and go to the Tools menu. Select the AutoCorrect Options. Click on the AutoCorrect tab. The "replace text as you type" box should be checked. There are other options there that you can turn on and off depending on your personal preferences.

Go to Tools>Auto Correct Options then choose the Auto Correct tab
