First, figure out how many moles 125g of Al is. (Hint: 125g / (grams per mole of Al)

For how ever many moles this is, divide by 2 to get the the moles of product you'll have, since there are 2 Al in aluminum oxide.

Figure out the molecular weight of Aluminum Oxide, and multiply by the # of moles of product you just found.

Al atomic weight 27, oxygen is 16.

So the we are adding 48 to each 54 we had.

125*(48+54)/54 = 236.11g of Al2O3.

No need to complicate the answer with calculations of things we don't need to know :D
