You'll get at least a few "Jesus doesn't send you to hell. You choose yourself."
I don't know how they reconcile that with the whole Judgement Day thing.

Always fun to see the answers that basically tell you that salvation is all about choices and a game where God must sadly put you in hell when he is the one that created it. Doesn't that make him schizophrenic?
So, I'll change things around a little bit and give you a Calvinist answer instead of an Arminian one. Left to ourselves, no one has the capability on his or her own to look to God for salvation, let alone fellowship with the Almighty. We stand guilty and condemned before the Lord, and deserving of his punishment. Often Christians will tell you that they have "accepted" Jesus and wave salvation around as if they deserved heaven for the choice they made. In other words, God stands in debt to them for their work of choosing. Not so, their acceptance was only a misguided reaction to what the Holy Spirit had already done in their hearts.
However, the Calvinist position is that SOME of mankind, totally undeserving like everyone else, are called, and when they are called, they have no choice but to listen, because it is God working in their hearts, not them working on themselves. Main working on man simply leads to more disaster. Therefore, God loves some, not all. Very hard pill for many people to swallow, because they think that the Lord must be loving and kind and a big cuddle bear in the sky. The Bible does not reflect this at all, otherwise there would have been no flood, no firstborn sons being killed in Egypt, or people dying instantly when they disobeyed God's law.
And that means your question is a non sequitur, at least to me. God can bring whoever he wants unto himself, and leave whoever he wants, in their sins.

Don't forget the fact that he died a horrible death for your sins. Yes, God loves you. There's no denying that, but he is a righteous God. In the beginning of 2 Peter 2 it talks about how God even sends angels that have sinned to hell.
If your were the oldest of 8 siblings and your parents said they would ground you, but never did and you always got away with everything, then don't you think the rest of your sibling would follow along? If God let everyone into Heaven on the day of judgment no matter what they did then what was the point of even warning us about punishment in the first place? No one would take the Word seriously anymore. To top it off, what would Jesus have sacrificed himself for?
Stupid question.

Jesus doesn't send anyone to hell.
You (and everyone else who may end up there) earn the trip there on your own. Don't foist responsibility for your own behavior onto God.
brother_momo AM™: It's sort of a "package deal". God will show and explain to you exactly how this all works when it's finally over. :-). He's got more patience than I have. I sometimes get tired of answering the same old "questions" over and over. I'm sincerely waiting on here for an original, brand new one to be asked.
Try not to let your jaw hit the ground or the palm of your hand smack you in the forehead too hard while you are saying "Gosh, I never thought of that one......"

Jesus loves YOU so much that he died to give you another option. God laid out the rules when he created humans...follow my rules and you can live forever in my kingdom, ignore my rules and you live outside my kingdom. God created us for a purpose and he has every right to evaluate us based on our performance related to that purpose. Should an employee that refuses to follow his or her employer's instructions expect to continue receiving a paycheck from that employer? If God created us, he has a legitimate right to judge our performance and either promote us or fire us.
Jesus represents the love of God for his creation...for YOU. God doesn't want to fire anyone from his company so he sent Jesus to show everyone the right way to do the job he created us to do. God knew that YOU (and me and everyone else) can't live up to his standards because we're so easily deceived by the desires of the flesh. When we make a mistake, we let guilt and fear and doubt (and lots of other "stuff") get in the way of trying again.
Jesus isn't sending you to hell, he's showing you the way to avoid it. Accepting Jesus means accepting his message...and his message is consistently and perfectly loving. "Follow my lead...when you make a mistake, admit it and ask for my help to do it better the next time". Jesus promised that if we followed these simple instructions, God would forget about every mistake and give us another chance to do the job right.

Doing good deeds and conserving God's commandments are very important really than in basic terms accepting Christ as your own savior..Believing must be paired with moves. those 2 ought to flow hand in hand. For the bible says even the devil believes and shivers previously God.the ten commandments were there for the early human beings of God. for sure maximum of its provisions were nevertheless in stress right now yet no longer the Sabbath remark. That changed into for the duration of their dispensation. we are now residing interior the Christian era. by ability of ways, because you're a Mormon why do you nevertheless employ the e book of Mormons when we've already got the Bible? Is the Bible no longer sufficient for us to trust and fulfill for our salvation? you even trust into baptism by ability of proxy. is this biblical?

I see your predictions came true.
How convenient for them to forget who set up the whole hell thing in the first place. Their has all power, but no responsibility. That's a dysfunction. Doesn't work.

Ummm no. Jesus loves you SO MUCH that He was tortured and killed for all the sins you have and will commit. He loves you THAT MUCH.
Jesus will NOT send you to hell. YOU decide whether you spend eternity with Jesus or eternity with satan.

Jesus loves you SO MUCH that He died for your sins. He knew from the beginning of time that you would be attempting to get His attention by criticizing Hi.
By negating His acts and His love, you are actually crying out for it.
If you cared nothing about Jesus, why would you care where He sent you? You don't believe in Him or salvation right?

You answered the question yourself. You will get sent to hell because YOU did not accept, not because He sent you out of His will. All of those who choose not to accept Jesus option for salvation are responsible for going to Hell. If you were drowning and someone offered you a lifesaver and you chose not to use it, who's to blame?
