Ecclesiastes 3:19-22 says For there is an eventuality as respects the sons of mankind and an eventuality as respects the beast, and they have the same eventuality. As the one dies, so the other dies; and they all have but one spirit, so that there is no superiority of the man over the beast, for everything is vanity. 20 All are going to one place. They have all come to be from the dust, and they are all returning to the dust. 21 Who is there knowing the spirit of the sons of mankind, whether it is ascending upward; and the spirit of the beast, whether it is descending downward to the earth? 22 And I have seen that there is nothing better than that the man should rejoice in his works, for that is his portion; because who will bring him in to look on what is going to be after him?
And Ecclesiastes 9:4-5 says For as respects whoever is joined to all the living there exists confidence, because a live dog is better off than a dead lion. 5 For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten.
Both man and beast cease to exsist when they die. Our only hope for the future afer we die is the ressurection.

Nowhere does Scripture explicitly state that animals do not have souls...There is nothing in Scripture I know of that would preclude the possibility of animals' continued existence...The Bible does give us some reason to hope that departed animals will be restored. We read in the Bible that redemption is a cosmic matter. The whole creation is destined to be redeemed through the work of Christ (Romans 8:21), and we see the images of what heaven will be like; beautiful passages of Scripture tell us about the lion and lamb and other animals being at peace with one another.(Isaiah 11:6-8). Whenever heaven is described, though it may be in highly imaginative language, it is a place where animals seem to be present. Whether these are animals newly created for the new heavens and the new earth, or they are the redeemed souls of our pets that have perished, we can't know for sure.

NO.
At death, some do have a heavenly future...a very small number.
(Revelation 20:4) And I saw thrones, and there were those who sat down on them, and power of judging was given them. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed with the ax for the witness they bore to Jesus and for speaking about God, and those who had worshiped neither the wild beast nor its image and who had not received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand. And they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for a thousand years.

The number is specific...144,000 out of all the billions who hav ever lived.

The remainder of us, providing we are good, have an earthly future. Psalms 37; 9,11,29,34

As to animals...

(Ecclesiastes 3:19-20) For there is an eventuality as respects the sons of mankind and an eventuality as respects the beast, and they have the same eventuality. As the one dies, so the other dies; and they all have but one spirit, so that there is no superiority of the man over the beast, for everything is vanity. 20 All are going to one place. They have all come to be from the dust, and they are all returning to the dust.

A clear explanation direct from the Bible.

no pets....as far as we know...there are horses though...
Christ comes back on one...

as to your family if your family is also faithful to God then
of course they will be there but as we know not every family
is made up of 100% believers.

that said...anyone whom is a beliver should be considered your
family, so in that manner yes you'll be with family.

in heaven were not gonna be like we are now, these things we
have here wont matter any more including family that might be
lost...

Christ is coming...

It is unlikely that anyone who wants to go to heaven to be with families and pets will even be there.

HEAVEN IS GOD'S HOME! AND IT'S ALL ABOUT HIM!

the christian concept of heaven is so hilarious! you know that heaven was invented so people could think they were rewarded for good deeds. that way, the masses would do what they were told and people would care about doing good so they could get to "heaven". also, it gives people something to look forward too after death. unfortunately, your not going to go to heaven after you do. sorry, but thats the way the cookie crumbles.

You actually WANT to be with your family in Heaven. I would re-think this one if I were you.
