This is a preaching style held over from the days before microphones and good acoustics, when you had to shout for the whole audience to hear. Once a tradition gets started, it's hard to break it. But I hate it, too.

The same reason folks shout at football games. The emotions run deep and the spirit is moving. They get excited.
By the by, It is not disrespectful. The bible says to shout and dance before the Lord.

Some are sincere and some are sages and some are Svengali and some are afraid and some are powermongers and some are desperate and some are conjurors and some are egomaniacs and some are idolotors and some are self serving ...listen to what they say instead of how they say it and pray for discernment.
If the Gospel is being preached be joyful no matter what drives them. The Word has power...not men.

they're called ''charismatics.'' pentecostal preachers are very, very flashy, dramatic, and attention-grabbing.i've laughed sometimes, watching some of them.they just seem like they're acting, putting on a big show, for the sole purpose of entertainment.
i dont laugh because of their disrespect.i laugh because they look and sound so foolish.and the way they get their congregation all worked up.if only they could see how silly they are.kind of immature,in a way,as well.

No. This is common oratory practice. It is designed to inspire people, not mock God. While I personally find too much of this style of preaching a bit gratuitous, I do believe it has its place.

I believe they are motivated by several reasons for this. Since each would have their own reason I suppose it would be best to ask them. And no I don't consider it to be disrespectful as much as unneedful.

I guess it has something to with making it more entertaining other than watching some 80 year old man wearing robes hunched over a pedestal
