told me that if i wanted 2 grow a little taller, that id ha ve 2 drink carrot juice everyday. i was like wth? is that true?

This is just her personal opinion - there is no evidence that by doing this it will cause you to grow taller. It is not true.

did that and turn orange
so if you do just remember when you start turning orange stop
