Ok, so i got vista from my cousin and downloaded it to my pc (xp) and i had vista for like 2 months then one day said it was no longer valid and for like ever ive had to go thorugh files and **** i no longer have a desktop to do the normal things a pc can do. it all like works though downloads n stuff still work but its not the same, but the worst and only part that bugs me a lot is it shuts off every hour on the hour back to the main "validate vista screen" its not hard to go back to everything but it sucks cuz it signs me out of my stuff..is there anyway at all to stop it from going off every hour??

get a real version of vista. you probably just have a trial or some other weird version.

use a good vista crack that stops automatic updates and make it appear up to date all the time.
