I am trying to find out how much time a person can get if they are arrested for a probation violation. The probation was for domestic violence & the violation was for failing to make a couple of probation appointments & a couple of failed drug tests. I just want to know how much time he is looking at? I don't know anything at this point & its driving me crazy!

2nd charge is BAD esp if found guilty.......
how did he plead? guilty?
state standard is 2 - 10 years......
he's in state jail huh? unlucky..... there is NO two for one time in state.

are you the victim (you don't really have to answer)

point is, if it was the state pushing the charges, he might walk with 1 - 3 years if you have a lawyer.

if the victim pushed the charges and all the way through court, then I'd aim at 2 - 5

remember though texas is trying to free up some jail space so they "might" be a bit more leinent on time.

I'm willing to bet that his time will float just at 2 years. GET A LAWYER..... it'll cost around 3 - 4 grand but WORTH it.

Good luck. Be SURE to visit him. send him pictures of EVERYONE he knows and loves. HE NEEDS IT...... ALOT.
