Some people actually like the sensation of pain, and if somebody is causing that person pain with their complete permission, and it is a consensual act, I fail to see how anybody could find fault with it.

Pain in and of itself is a warning from body, mind, or both; it's not evil, either inherently or otherwise. Do you know what happens to kids who can't feel pain? Think it through. What would happen if you didn't know that you had cut or burned your hand? Would you seek treatment? Would you care? Or could you, just possibly, ignore it until you ended up with gangrene that was so bad that you lost the hand.

Pain exists for a purpose; that goes for existential pain as well. If you did not experience that, you would never learn, and you would never grow. It may not be a lot of fun, but I'll take the pain; it beats the heck out of insensitivity.

Pain isn't evil. It's a mechanism to help us learn, and in learning, we become better people. It also helps with our understanding of others. How can you possibly empathise with someone who's in pain if you've never felt any yourself?

Pain is neither good nor evil - it simply is. Labels like "good" or "evil" should only be applied your reaction to that pain.

Pain is a warning device informing our bodies something is wrong. Without pain we'd tend to die young, unaware of the problems we face.

Same goes true spiritually.

Life is difficult and pain is inevitable. The sooner one accepts this truth, the sooner one is free from pain. There is nothing evil about it...it is just another experience.

Pain is merely physical discomfort or emotional distress. If someone pokes you, it's uncomfortable, and it kind of hurts, but they're not EVIL.

Who says this?

And causing pain is sometimes necessary. As in, we are hiking and you break your leg. I have to set it so we can survive, so therefore I cause you pain.

There is no such thing as evil.
