What would happen when the earth explodes billions of years from now when the sun gets too close? Would you just be floating in space, forever, all alone? Immortality itself seems like a death sentence.

It would be boring I would think. That said, I wouldn't mind living two or three hundred years instead of 50-70.

Read the King James version of the Bible and also read The Lost Books of the Bible.
Get to know God and Jesus Christ personally.
God gave all of us souls.
Our souls all go directly to God when we pass away from our earthly bodies.
God has offered us all ETERNAL LIFE WITH HIM IN HEAVEN. There will be no tears in Heaven. All of our souls will be singing and giving praise to God, our Father.
Satan is coming back to Earth first for a 51/2 month reign and then Jesus Christ is coming back and then God is going to take over!!! Forever. They will be here before the Earth is destroyed by the sun, global warming, or any other Earth-threatening catastrophe.
Before they come back, all of the islands will disappear.

Believe me, the Lord is going to come before we have to worry about anything like that happening. With the way this world is today, where the fighting is going on, this business w/the global warming & the evil in the world today...it behoves us to BE READY...the Lord is coming. I am not going to be here to wittness anything that happens on this earth. I'll be in Heaven w/my loved ones who've gone on before & are waiting for me & the rest of our loved ones. We'll spend eternity w/the Lord. What a great thought, what a fantastic promise the Lord has given us. I can't wait for that day. Each day I live, is one day closer to being in Heaven. He's coming again & I can't wait for that day! What a meeting in the sky!

Eyes have seen the Garden of Eden.
Think about it.
Do not listen to spiritually dead people, they know nothing when it comes to our heavenly Father. He is a loving, caring, teaching, protecting, and righteous Father. All you have to do is study His Word, the living Word.
The Tree of life in Revelation 22:2 bare twelve manner of fruit and the leafs were for healing. What do you think these are for, BOREDOM, not.

Did you read what you wrote? Immortality is like a death sentence? When you die you are dead there is nothing more for you.
Would I want to be immortal? No.

Consider this from the book of revelations 21:4, And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Immortality with no pain and all pleasure is a life I am looking forward to. Of course to get that life you must be a born again Christian. John 3:3 says you must be born again, meaning you must have a personal relationship with Jesus in your heart, a new birth spiritually will cleanse you of all sins and cover you with the blood of Jesus Christ. The Bible says that without the sheding of blood there is no remission for sins. Hebrews 9:22. Jesus was the perfect Lamb. Sinsless, but died and took our sins away because that was the only way we could get to Heaven, God is Holy, sin could not enter into Heaven, so Jesus came to be our Saviour and God has given all things unto his son. Now all we have to do is believe in Jesus and we can be born again. Are you willing to confess that you are a sinner in need of a Saviour? Are you willing to admit that Christ died for you on that cross and arose so that you might have eternal life in Heaven? If you are then you canbe saved today, right now, just pray this sinners prayer of faith meaning it will all your heart and you will be saved, just pray Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. No way to know for sure. Its like asking "what would it be like to be the opposite sex", theres just no way to know for sure...
I think at least a few hundred years would be interesting. Seeing all your friends and family die before you would put a damper on it though :(

living forever in this world seems scary.but to live in an ideal fantasy world where all your dreams come true,that comforts me.i like to daydream.i like imagining myself in another world.one where all the hurt and pain doesnt exist.one where true love does exist.and it lasts forever.
but,then again,i'm just a dreamer...dreaming my life away.....
