I love your questions...I waited to have kids till I found my girl and Im in grad school...we are going to raise our kids together later when we have some $.

I had a set of 5 year old twins when I left my ex husband and became a single mother.I initially left when the abuse got so bad I was afraid one of the kids would get hurt.We later found out that my ex had bipolar manic depression.I have since learned all I can about the disease,and monitor the children closely.About 3 years after my divorce finalized I married a wonderful man.Shortly after my divorce was final,my ex married a woman who is great with my kids.Now,the four of us are raising two wonderful teenagers,although I continue to maintain custody.We all share our pictures of one another,and make a conentrated effort to keep the kids the main focus.Since their dad has gotten help,he has become a better person,and one I trust to be alone for long periods of time with the kids.
