I would rather live forever in pain, than spend one day in the realm of non-sensory matter. I would much rather live with my own reason in mind that die and serve no reason at all. Death is worthless and so are those who take living for granted...

No. We are meant to live on this Earth for a certain amount of time only. Think of all the people that you would meet, love and then lose. How much loss could you suffer before the immortality no longer held the flash and glamour you originally believed in?

No I would not want to be immortal. Why live forever in this body? Why would anyone want to out live there family and friends? Why go on daily doing the same thing? Life would become a misery.

Don't you want to know what happens when death comes? Are the religions true, are you worm food, do you endlessly dream, resurrection?? Think of the possibilities!
And also, if you're immortal you will have to suffer through everything the world will have to offer in a few years. War, global warming, aliens? You can never stop..

Immortality will be given to all those who will get to enter in Heaven. And all will love to accept their age 32 or 33 for ever.

Imagine how bored you would be after 200 years of being inside your own head; all your friends would come and go and you'd still be there. Once you've read every book ever written, seen every film and heard every piece of music there's really very little that you would want to do in this world.
I should think you would want to end your own life fairly soon after your grandchildren grow up to the same age you are...

No, i do no longer think of so. i could quite adventure age like i'm assume to, and then pass directly to what's next in line for me. i've got self assurance in Reincarnation, the astral worldwide, and so on. i've got self assurance this existence that i'm residing now's only one among countless.

I'm tempted to quote Queen, "Who wants to live forever when love must die"......
But, yeah, I wouldn't mind having immortality. There's too many things I want to do to pack into one lifetime.
Assuming, of course, that one actually stayed in fairly good shape, mind you. Having the body continue to fall apart through all that would just suck.

I would not. A long life would be great, but what's the point of immortality? I need closure. I can't move on to the next thing or be reincarnated if I can't die!

No, living forever would be miserable if you really think about it. You live and everyone you love dies and besides wouldn't life get just plain old boring after a while? What would happen when the earth blew up in 500 billion years? Would I just be floating in space, forever, all alone?
